The Least Of These

Take a journey back in time... It’s Christmas time and you are awakened up by your younger brother jumping on your bed, telling you that it’s Christmas Day.

In the living room, the rest of the family are waiting for you with huge smiles on their faces and big voices wishing you a Happy Christmas!! As you open your presents you are so excited to receive all the items that were at the top of your list. These gifts are a tangible reminder that you are loved, that you have value, that you belong!  

For many children in Thailand, this is not their reality - in fact, some children don’t have a family, and don’t even have proof that they are a citizen. But thanks to people like YOU, Shan and Lindsey Mahawon and the team at Faith Village are changing that!  

Faith Village was started over 20 years ago as a rescue home for boy soldiers in Thailand. Since then, both boys and girls have been rescued from abuse and abandonment. Many of the children they care for are without identification, birth certificates, or parents and therefore ineligible for any state programs or assistance.   

Without Faith Village, these children risk life on the street which usually means begging, poverty, no education, and no hope of a future!
