More about Mia
Mia works with Isaiah 55 Ministries, a Christian mission in the northern Mexico city of Reynosa. She first got connected to the ministry working on a week-long mission trip in 2018 and returned in the following years. In the summer of 2022, she served for three months, helping with short-term mission projects before realizing the Lord had planted the idea of her returning for an extended stay in missions. She’s projected to be in Reynosa until August 2024. Currently, she helps with mission teams from across the United States and Mexico that serve on short-term projects, and on the neighborhood outreach team, as well as with donor communication.
Isaiah 55:1 “Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.”
What Mia does in her free time
Mia enjoys embroidering flowers and bugs on clothing. Another hobby is reading graphic novels and going on bike rides.
Ministry Details
Isaiah 55 ministries has five branches that work in a school for the deaf, a vocational school, neighborhood outreach, short-term mission teams and church planting. The mission started in 2005 and has expanded in the years since to serve a broader range of people seeking help and rehabilitation.
