Provides community centers, disaster relief training, and mobilization, clean water systems in schools and communities, water purifiers in homes, sanitary toilets, mobilization of national churches and believers.

Total Financial Support Needed: $388,000

• $15,000 – Church mobilization travel 5 times for three people travel on mobilization trips which is $1000/trip.

• $14,615 – Annual training center rental.

• $20,000 – Church NGO management training: one year, two times, annually holding a month-long class for 10-20 people including living expenses, training, internship.

• $35,000 – Community center support for 10 centers: supporting a center for 2 years including the facilities, training, management subsidies, etc.

• $140.000 – Water purifiers: each household filter price is $70. The one-year plan will provide 2000 filters.

• $10,000 – Environmentally friendly toilets: according to the cost of local materials, each latrine is $200-500. The plan is to build 20 demonstration models in one year.

• $153,846 – Full-time workers’ living subsidies: ten full-time employees and living expenses - $15,384 a year per person.

This communmity development organization needs professional, experienced volunteers such as doctors, psychological experts, economic experts, management experts, relationship experts, teachers, or other professional backgrounds and, volunteers with an NGO background are the best.

Join and support the work of a local Christ-centered NGO (non-governmental organization) that provides emergency response, humanitarian relief, community development, and training for local believers who lead holistic gospel ministry projects throughout rural and remote areas of the country and beyond.

The NGO mobilizes more than 1000 local churches annually to begin community care programs. The church leaders and members are trained in community development principles and practical ministry. The NGO coaches the churches for at least two years training them to be independent and begin projects within their own communities. This organization has helped churches begin more than 100 community projects including:

• Church mobilization: arranging 10-20 meetings a year with 50-100 people at each meeting.

• NGO management training school: annually holding a month-long class for 10-20 people sent by churches to receive special training about NGO management.

• Community centers: including a library, children’s center, elderly care, special groups care, life education, family education, etc.

• Provide sanitary toilets for rural village communities.

• Water safety projects: cooperating with churches to help remote mountain drinking water project construction, water purification equipment distribution, and constructing environmentally friendly latrines.

• Disaster relief: placing water purification machines and care centers for women and children are immediate responses after a disaster.

• Disaster prevention and reduction through training the church, the community, schools, and build a security system of disaster prevention and mitigation.

 Next five years:

• Build a high level of incubation, from mobilization - training - project cooperation.

• Help 25 church institutions mature.

• Train 300 charitable believers from 100 churches.

• Issue 5,000 water purifiers to improve the drinking water of 60,000 people.

• Establish 30 community centers for left-behind children.

• Develop a disaster prevention and reduction course.

• Establish a network of churches for disaster relief and community development.
