A ceramic water purifier provides safe drinking water at a low cost. $100 includes the price of the water filter, the delivery, the setup, and the training. Your gift will provide clean water for classrooms, schools, and communities in Asia.

Your generosity will enable local believers to distribute water purifiers and provide health/hygiene training to families, schools, villages, and even laying water pipes and supplying new water systems if necessary. This will give local believers a great opportunity to make a long-term impact with the gospel in rural communities throughout this region.

Water is essential for life. But safe drinking water is difficult to find in much of rural Asia. In some areas, people collect their water from rivers and streams. In other areas, the water that is piped into their house is not clean. Sewage and fertilizer seeping into the ground contaminate the drinking water. This affects families, villages, and thirsty children during their school day.

In mountainous areas of the country, residents collect and drink untreated water directly from streams and ponds. This run-off water is contaminated by animal manure, causing parasites, and many gastrointestinal issues. As a result, students are often sick and are frequently absent from school.

In the dry areas of the country, residents traditionally collect rain and river water in small, shallow water cellars. The water is usually covered with moss and is a breeding ground for microorganisms, mosquitoes, bacteria, and parasites.

The development of a unique ceramic water filter has literally been a lifesaver, providing, safe drinking water at a low cost. The ceramic water filter removes 99.9% of harmful bacteria from the water and provides enough drinking water for a family. Or one filter can supply water for a class of students at a local school.

Since 2011, water purifiers and health/hygiene training have been provided for more than 10,000 families, 138 communities, and 357 rural schools providing clean drinking water for more than 112,000 people.
