Shannon and Susan

More about the Haerrs

Shannon and Susan Haerr have been serving in Budapest, Hungary since 2025. Susan is a licensed clinical therapist and has joined the team at Olive Tree Counseling Center, an agency that exists to provide counseling services to cross-cultural workers from across the globe. Shannon also serves the agency with practical needs in the office and is available to other churches and organizations in that community that have a variety of requests.

Shannon and Susan raised their four children in northeast Missouri and founded a youth ranch in that community for 12 years before changing trajectories to teach/coach (Shannon) and to become a licensed mental health clinician (Susan). Together they have a passion to see the Gospel preached to all nations, tribes, and tongues and are dedicated to serving the front-line workers who are fulfilling this Great Commission.

The Haerrs previously have engaged in short-term mission projects in Haiti, Jamaica, and Mexico. They now are serving as parttime workers in Hungary with open hearts to serve more permanently in the future as the Lord calls them.
