As the war continues, the needs of this ministry have multiplied. There is an opportunity to help with the pressing needs of refugees within Romania, but also to supply the urgent needs of displaced people within Ukraine by providing food, medicine, medical supplies, and generators for Ukrainian hospitals.

Your gift will provide:

1) Generators for hospitals, food, water, medicine, medical supplies, blankets, diapers, and baby formula that is being purchased by GlobalGrace workers in Romania and taken to key locations in Ukraine

2) Food, water, towels, sheet sets, cleaning supplies, and meeting individual needs of refugees arriving in the Romanian village.

3) Gas for transport of supplies and refugees... gas is $8 a gallon and the Romania location is 5 hours from the border... so a round trip is 10 hours and a lot of gas.

4) Gift cards so refugees can get supplies along the road as to other countries and money towards their gas. 

5) Minutes for Romanian SIM cards so refugees can make calls and stay in touch with family and watch the news.

6) School supplies for children so refugee children don't fall behind in their studies.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is the biggest state-against-state attack since World War II. Millions of civilians are fleeing the war as they risk their lives to reach neighboring countries like Romania, Poland, and Moldova.

The full-scale war in Ukraine has created a catastrophic humanitarian crisis. More than 4 million people have fled Ukraine, creating the fastest-growing refugee crisis in Europe. Another 6.5 million Ukrainians are displaced within their own country.

GlobalGrace missionaries in Romania are working together with local churches, NGOs, and foundations to meet the urgent needs of Ukrainian refugees who have fled the atrocities of the Russian attack on their cities and communities. As refugees stream across the border each day, they are providing transportation, hot meals, a place to stay, and lots of love and compassion.

Your generosity will help meet the urgent needs of Ukrainian refugees as they come across the border into Romania.
